Valley View

Three councils and a creek

Valley View is a north-eastern suburb shared by three councils: Port Adelaide Enfield, Salisbury and Tea Tree Gully. Its southern boundary follows Walkleys, Grand Junction and North East roads. The largest park, Thomas Turner Reserve on Nelson Road, has Dry Creek running through it from east to west, splitting the Valley View golf course from the rest of the park. Of its 2,397 occupied homes in 2021, all but about one in twenty were separate houses, and over a third were owned outright.

Settled houses like these often still run their original drains. Older earthenware lines open at the joints as the clay shrinks and swells, and roots from garden trees move in. Dry Creek is a seasonal stream, and the stormwater side of a home works the same way, busiest in the wet winter months. Whichever council your street is in, we clear, inspect and repair the drains on your property.

  • Clear leaves and grass clippings from stormwater pits and gutters before winter, when most of Adelaide's rain arrives.
  • If the outside overflow gully grate lifts or water pools around it, hold off on the toilet and washing machine and call us. The main line is blocked.
  • Tell us your street and roughly when the house was built when you book. It helps us bring the right gear for the pipe you have.

FAQ

Drains in Valley View questions

Got another question? Call us and we’ll talk it through.

Do you clear drains in Valley View?

Yes. We clear blocked drains, run camera inspections and assess pipe repairs for homes across Valley View. Tell us the street when you book.

How soon can you come?

Call us and we book the next attendance window and tell you when it is. If water or sewage is overflowing, say so when you call, and stop running water into that drain until we arrive.

Can you help with a rental property?

Yes. Tell us the owner or property manager who approves the work and the tenant’s contact for access, and we book a time that suits the tenant.

What does it cost to clear a drain?

We confirm the visit charge when you book. Once we’ve found the cause, you get the price of the clearing or the repair before any work starts, so every item is agreed first.
