A suburb from the year 2000
Lightsview was carved partly out of Northgate in 2016, and its housing had begun a decade earlier in what was then southern Northgate. Northgate itself was established in 2000. It sits about 8 km north of the city in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, between Northfield, Walkley Heights, Oakden and Hillcrest. Its 1,041 occupied homes in 2021 averaged 3.5 bedrooms, and 88.7% were separate houses.
