Either side of Findon and Crittenden roads
Findon lies about 6.5 km north-west of the city, astride Findon and Crittenden roads, with Grange Road on its southern edge. The land was granted in 1839 and subdivided in 1848. Findon Oval and Matheson Reserve are among its open spaces. The 2021 Census counts 6,997 people in 3,235 homes: 65.5% separate houses, 21.3% semi-detached and 12.5% flats, with 36.2% rented.
That mix matters underground. A separate house has its own line to the sewer; semi-detached homes and flats often share one, so a blockage in one home reaches the next. Older lines are earthenware, brittle and jointed, and Adelaide's reactive clay and garden roots work on them; newer ones are PVC, which blocks more with fat and wipes. With so many rentals, we work to the owner or manager's approval and the tenant's access.
- In a semi-detached home, check whether next door is slow too before you call. Two affected homes point to the shared line.
- Landlords: send us the approving owner or manager and the tenant's contact with the booking, and we arrange access with the tenant.
- Strainers in the shower and laundry trough, and a bin for wipes, keep a shared line clearer for everyone on it.

Call us and we book the next attendance window and tell you when it is. If water or sewage is overflowing, say so when you call, and stop running water into that drain until we arrive.
Can you help with a rental property?
Yes. Tell us the owner or property manager who approves the work and the tenant’s contact for access, and we book a time that suits the tenant.

We confirm the visit charge when you book. Once we’ve found the cause, you get the price of the clearing or the repair before any work starts, so every item is agreed first.
