Seacliff Park
Homes on the slopes north of Ocean Road
Seacliff Park is split between the Marion and Holdfast Bay councils and cut diagonally by Ocean Road, with the homes mostly on the northern side. Its Kaurna name, Wita-wattingga, means in the midst of peppermint gums, for the low woodland that once covered these slopes. In 2021 the suburb had 2,644 residents; 83.9% of homes were separate houses, 13% semi-detached or townhouses, and about one in five was rented.
On sloping streets the drains fall towards the connection, and winter rain sends water and garden silt down through pits and downpipes. Townhouses and semi-detached homes often share a drain line, so one blockage can reach the neighbours. Adelaide's reactive clay moves with the seasons and works on older rigid pipe. We sort out which line is at fault and fix it.
- In a townhouse or semi-detached home, tell us if the neighbours' drains are slow too. A shared line blocked further down affects both homes.
- Check downpipe outlets and stormwater pits before winter. On a sloping block, a pit full of silt overflows across the yard in the first heavy rain.
- Landlords and property managers: give us the owner or manager who approves the work and the tenant's contact, and we'll arrange access with the tenant.

Do you clear drains in Seacliff Park?
Yes. We clear blocked drains, run camera inspections and assess pipe repairs for homes across Seacliff Park. Tell us the street when you book.
How soon can you come?
Call us and we book the next attendance window and tell you when it is. If water or sewage is overflowing, say so when you call, and stop running water into that drain until we arrive.
Can you help with a rental property?
Yes. Tell us the owner or property manager who approves the work and the tenant’s contact for access, and we book a time that suits the tenant.
What does it cost to clear a drain?
We confirm the visit charge when you book. Once we’ve found the cause, you get the price of the clearing or the repair before any work starts, so every item is agreed first.
