Frewville is small: 896 people in 367 homes at the 2021 Census, in a triangle 3 km south-east of the city between Flemington Street, Conyngham Street and Glen Osmond Road. A village was laid out here in 1854, on land the early colonists used to graze horses, and in 1881 most of it was cut into the property boundaries that still exist.
